Our centre provides a range of services to help students.
These include:
Transition Student Welfare Our Student Welfare Teacher assists eligible students and families with Education Maintenance Allowance and Youth Allowance applications. She organises a twice yearly immunisation program and visits from the school nurse regarding sight and hearing. She also assists students in obtaining dental care. She can also help with personal and family problems such as accommodation. Communication with Parents Parent-Teacher interviews take place each term with interpreters provided. Written reports are translated for parents into most languages. Families are always welcome to discuss issues concerning their children at these meetings, or to arrange other times to do so. |
